Running with Scissors…while laughing all the way to the Banksy is a series of kinetic sculptures inspired by the questions and ideas that trickledown from life with kids, death of parents, struggles with work, preposterous news, and adapting to life with COVID-19.
About the Artist
Mark R. Pitzer finds joy in imagining, designing,and building...and then re-imagining, re-designing, and re-building...machines that do little more than express an idea.
Mark is a neuroscientist at the University of Portland where he feels honored to have the opportunity to teach curious and creative people. His lab currently studies what causes dopamine neurons to emerge in the brain and then, how specific diseases can destroy the mearly in life.
