This project will first look at the vertical integration strategies of IKEA as they move to gain more control over the beginning of their value chain.Then it will explore the strategic alliances formed as a result of this vertical integration as well as the risks associated with their purchasing strategy in the Trade Area Greater China region.Finally it will seek to determine the best method to efficiently manage the risks presented by these alliances.
