Abstract

This project aims to investigate any spatial or temporal trends in the vegetation data gathered during the surveying of the University of Portland's River Campus during the summer of 2014 by Katelin Stanley and myself. This report will determine if the survey methods used during the summer of 2014 produced statistically meaningful results and compare the results to similar riparian areas to gauge overall health and guide future restoration of the area. Finally, the project will inform and prepare future student researchers with the best methods for surveying to establish an accurate representation of the vegetation present at this point in the restoration process.
